| Work: | The cantonal summer camp KASOLA 2013 is a collective, two week long camp for all the scout sections of the canton Zug.The camp will involved young people aged 8-18. The camp is organised from the scout leaders of the different sections and the main direction. In order to make the camp successful they need a lot of help. Volunteers will support the different departments of the camp direction in different tasks: to build and then dismantle the camp (to build wood constructions and tents, sanitation, electrical power supply), traffic regulation (during arrival, at the visiting day in the middle of the camp, during departure), support the general program (support during games for the participants, to prepare the needed material, to set up and decorate the camp place), to help out in the camp kitchen, to help out at the bar for the Volunteers). You will also be involved in communications during the camp, helping to design the camp newspaper, to moderate the camp radio and to distribute the mail. Volunteers may also be needed for general tasks such as recycling waste, making small maintenance repairs. |
| Location: | The camp will take place close to Wila in the canton of Zurich and not far from the city of Win-terthur. The camp place is surrounded by wood and close to nearby little villages. There is also a small river not far from there. |
| Accommodation: | Volunteers will be housed in tents. For the Volunteers there will be organised showers in public schools. There are also toilet facilities on the camp ground and a bar for additional meals and as a meeting point for the Volunteers and the scout leaders. There will be three meals a day. |
