The Role of Members

Membership of UNA Exchange is much more than filling out a form, or handing over a few pounds. Active members are central to our work, from planning and delivering our trainings to running UNA Exchange. We function as a democratic membership-led organisation. At each Annual General Meeting a new Executive Committee is elected from the membership. This means that our volunteers become our legal Trustees. They are entrusted to make sure we work in accordance with the rules of our constitution . Members are the lifeblood of UNA Exchange. They bring the fresh ideas and energy which we thrive on. This is the reason why supporting the personal development of our volunteers is so important to us. UNA Exchange has a membership3 of 250+ individuals. Membership runs for 12 months and costs £12.
