Youth Development

As a National Voluntary Youth Organisation UNA Exchange is one of many organisations working to provide a range of opportunities and activities which are relevant and responsive to the needs and ideas of young people. We are committed to providing stimulating activities through which young people can gain experiences which support the choices and decisions they make.

We believe that international volunteering provides a way of engaging with the world ‘out there’, and making it more real and accessible. We encourage young people to develop awareness and responsibilities towards themselves and others, vital life skills which will benefit them and society long into the future.

UNA Exchange provides whatever assistance volunteers need to help them get the most from their experiences – some need very little from us while others require a lot of preparation and support. Everybody is an individual and we are ready and able to work together with all volunteers, whatever their background or need.
